Due to mat board sizes being unavailable for framing at this larger size - size medium etching paper may be bought unframed and taken to a local framer for custom framing with no mat board added.

Mat board is the white card frame that sits between the paper print and the acetate or glass. Using matboard gives the print breathing space so the acetate/glass is not sitting directly on it.
